A repeatable memory and character check
Run the same brief and sequence on both products. Repeat with several characters before drawing a conclusion. These are test instructions, not scores.
- Create a fictional adult archivist who dislikes coffee and keeps a notebook named Atlas.
- Ask for a first meeting at a station. Check whether the reply follows the setting and personality.
- Correct one fact: the notebook is now called Meridian. Save it using the product’s memory controls.
- Exchange ten unrelated messages, then ask for the notebook name. Record the answer, model, plan and date.
- Return in a new session to the same conversation. Check the corrected fact, then separately try a new conversation and record which memories carry over.
- Request one image and one voice playback if available. Record the charges separately and check whether the image matches the brief.

The subscription FAQ updated in September 2026 advertises unlimited free messages, but does not give a current dollar price. We did not verify image or video quotas. Documentation describes feature availability; account rollouts and usage conditions can differ.
