# nytely > nytely is an AI companion app for adults. You meet fictional characters with realistic or illustrated portraits who text back in their own voice, send photos, speak their replies and remember your story. It runs in the browser at https://www.nytely.chat, is free to start, and is for people aged 18 and over. Every character is invented and every portrait is original: nothing a character says comes from a real person. New accounts get three free replies; after that, a reply costs 1 credit, a voice playback 2 and a photo 10 to 50 depending on the scene, with credits included in a monthly or yearly membership or bought as packs.
